Senator Michael Freeland says drainage, bush clearing and community beautification works are currently underway in Paynters West, with road improvements expected to follow in the coming weeks.

Freeland said the initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure and maintain cleaner surroundings in the community.

“Drainage, bush clearing, and beautification work are ongoing in Paynters West. This will continue over the coming weeks, with road works to follow,” he said.

He added that maintaining community cleanliness and upgrading infrastructure remain key priorities.

“Community cleanliness and infrastructural improvements remain a top priority,” Freeland stated, while thanking residents for their patience and cooperation as work progresses.

The senator also expressed appreciation to Hon. Maria Browne, the Ministry of Works and its team for facilitating the project.

The works are expected to continue over the coming weeks as part of broader community development efforts in the area.
