All Saints West MP Anthony Smith Jr. says more than $20,000 has been invested in football clubs within his constituency as part of ongoing support for youth and community development.

Smith announced that he contributed $10,000 in total on Tuesday evening to the Sea View Farm and Freemans Village football clubs, marking the second round of funding for the teams this season.

“Investing in our youth and supporting sports development in All Saints West is not optional; it’s essential. When we strengthen our clubs, we strengthen our communities,” Smith said in a statement.

He noted that from the start of the season, a commitment was made to treat both clubs equally, with identical contributions provided in the first round and again in the second.

“Fairness and consistency matter,” he said, adding that young people deserve “opportunity, structure, and support.”

Smith said the initiative forms part of a broader effort to continue strengthening community engagement through sports.
