The Caribbean Science Foundation (CSF) has announced the final information session ahead of the 2026 Caribbean Science Olympiad (CSO), set to take place on Sunday 16 November 2025 at 7:00 p.m. AST via Zoom.

The session will offer guidance to prospective participants on event details, competition rules, entry requirements and the judging process. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and clarify concerns ahead of the regional competition.

The CSO invites individual competitors and teams from schools, clubs and associations across the Caribbean to participate in one of three categories — Robotics & Electronic Systems, Computer Coding , and Mathematics.

Participants will compete at three age levels: Level 1 (13–15) , Level 2 (16–18) , and Level 3 (19–21). Winners will receive platinum, gold, silver and bronze medal certificates as well as cash prizes.

Preliminary elimination events are scheduled for mid to late December 2025 , with the finals taking place from 12 to 18 January 2026.

Registration details and competition information are available on the CSO website at caribbeanscience.org/cso.

The CSF’s outreach has included media appearances by Professor Cardinal Warde , who discussed the upcoming Olympiad in interviews on Antigua Barbuda Today and Mornin’ Barbados.

The November session marks the fourth and final in a series of briefings designed to prepare participants for the region’s premier science and technology competition.
