ST. JOHN’S, Antigua — The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre is inviting the public to take part in its annual World Down Syndrome Awareness Family Fun Ride, scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2026.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Antigua and Barbuda Cycling Federation and supported by Good Humans 268 Inc., aims to raise awareness while offering an inclusive activity for families across the island.
Organizers say the free event is open to participants of all ages and abilities, with special prize categories planned. To ensure accessibility, a stationary bike will also be available on site for those who are unable to ride.
The ride is set to begin at 8 a.m. along LIAT Road in Coolidge, St. George’s. Participants are encouraged to attend with friends and family and show support for individuals with Down syndrome, as organizers stress the importance of inclusion and community engagement.
