    Police Appeal for Information After Fatal Newfield Stabbing of Daniel Lewis

    Police are appealing to the public for information as investigations continue into a fatal stabbing in New Field that claimed the life of 38-year-old Daniel Lewis of Glanvilles.

    The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda said the incident occurred during the early hours of Monday, March 16, at Lion’s Estate. Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is urged to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call the anonymous Crimestoppers hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).

    According to preliminary reports, Lewis allegedly entered the home of a resident in the New Field area, where a confrontation ensued. During the altercation, he reportedly sustained a wound to the lower part of his body.

    Emergency personnel later responded to the scene, but Lewis was pronounced dead at approximately 8:38 a.m. Police say investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing and have extended condolences to his family and loved ones.
