    Young Steel Pan Talents Take Top Honors at National Junior Solo Competition

    The Department of Culture is delighted to announce the winners of the National Junior Solo Competition, held on March 15th, 2026, at The UWI Global Campus. This spectacular event brought together a talented ensemble of young artists, showcasing exceptional skills in steel pan playing and artistry that left the audience in awe.

    The evening was a resounding success, with patrons enjoying a wonderful mix of captivating performances, vibrant energy, and infectious enthusiasm. The talented youngsters impressed the judges with their passion, dedication, and remarkable talent, making it a truly unforgettable night.

    Fourteen exceptional young artists took to the stage, mesmerizing the crowd with their mastery of the steel pan and creative flair. We extend our warmest congratulations to all participants and winners on a job well done!

    The Results are:

    5-13 Category

    1st Place: Kaiya Casimir & Keiyanna Davis

    3rd Place: Tianna Spencer

    14-21 Category

    1st Place: Keshawn Benjamin

    2nd Place: Imani Quinland

    3rd Place: Zari Roach

    4th Place: Calique Thomas
