A group of young footballers from Antigua’s The Soccer Academy is heading to England for a week of elite training, development and international football exposure.
The players are travelling to Coventry as part of an experience organised with Future Pro Academy, which will give them opportunities to train and gain greater insight into the English football environment.
The programme is expected to include elite training and development sessions, academy and club experiences and other opportunities aimed at advancing the players’ skills and understanding of the game.
One of the highlights of the trip will be the opportunity to attend the Coventry City versus AS Monaco match.
Future Pro welcomed the Antiguan contingent in a social media post, describing The Soccer Academy as one of Antigua’s leading football academies and wishing the group safe travels ahead of the programme.
The visit represents another opportunity for young Antiguan footballers to gain international exposure and experience training in a highly competitive football environment.
