Antigua and Barbuda’s Tyra Fenton has finished ninth overall in the women’s 200 metres at the World Under-20 Championships.

Fenton advanced through the earlier rounds to reach the final, delivering a strong performance against some of the world’s leading junior sprinters.

The Antigua and Barbuda Athletic Association praised the young athlete for the determination, talent and composure she displayed throughout the championships.

Her appearance in the final marked a significant achievement for Fenton and Antigua and Barbuda on the international athletics stage.
