No tropical cyclone watches or warnings are required at this time as hostile atmospheric conditions make the development of AL92 unlikely.

The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Service has also discontinued the tropical cyclone alert for the Leeward Islands and British Virgin Islands.

The disturbance is expected to move west to west-northwest over the next 24 to 36 hours, bringing an increased chance of showers and gusty winds.

Rainfall totals of 0.5 to 2 inches are possible, potentially causing minor flooding in low-lying areas. Wind gusts could reach 40 mph, while seas are forecast to peak between 8 and 12 feet.

A high wind advisory and small craft warning will take effect at 5 p.m. Friday.

Residents are advised to secure loose, lightweight objects, while mariners should remain in port. The Met Office will continue monitoring the system and issue further updates if necessary.
