Senator Dwayne George on Sunday led a beach cleanup at Valley Church Beach in collaboration with Adopt a Coastline , bringing volunteers together in an effort to remove debris and protect the coastal environment.

The initiative focused on clearing waste from the shoreline to reduce risks to marine life and preserve the natural condition of one of Antigua’s popular beaches. Organisers said the cleanup reflects a broader push to encourage environmental responsibility and community participation in conservation efforts.

Valley Church Beach, known for its white sand and clear waters, is a key recreational and tourism site. Participants said maintaining its condition is essential not only for environmental protection but also for national pride and sustainability.
