Police are investigating a house breaking and larceny in the Campsite area after a residence owned by a Canadian national was broken into and an appliance stolen.

Officers said the caretaker reported that unknown individuals entered the property and stole a red and white mini fridge. Its value has not yet been determined.

The incident is believed to have occurred between 8:00 a.m. on 16 January and 12:12 p.m. on 18 January 2026.

Police said a large stone was apparently used to gain access through a window. The house was ransacked and the appliance removed from the kitchen. Investigators believe the suspects exited through a western front door, which had been forced open.

A search of the surrounding area was carried out, but no arrests were made and the stolen item has not been recovered.
