Reconstruction work on the drain along Princess Street has been completed, marking another infrastructure upgrade aimed at improving resilience and reducing flood risks in the capital, according to Daryll S. Matthew.

Matthew said the project forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen public infrastructure and support safer, more resilient communities. He also thanked nearby residents for their patience and cooperation during the construction period.

The completed works are expected to improve drainage efficiency along Princess Street, an area that has previously experienced runoff challenges during heavy rainfall.
