    The Antigua and Barbuda Department of Youth Affairs has opened nominations for the

    2026 National Youth Awards and Lifetime Achievement Awards

    , with the deadline set for

    September 25, 2026

    .

    The

    National Youth Awards

    will recognise young people across several categories:

    Environment, Phoenix, Pioneer, Activist, Artisan, Agriculture, Culinary Arts, Media Practitioner, Tourism, Culture and Performing Arts, Community Service, Entrepreneurship, Education and Student Researcher

    .

    Nominations are also open for the

    Lifetime Achievement Awards

    , which recognise individuals who have dedicated their lives to developing or empowering young people.

    The Department of Youth Affairs, which operates under the Ministry of Social and Urban Transformation, said the National Youth Awards ceremony will be held on

    November 28, 2026

    Members of the public are encouraged to nominate eligible individuals before the September 25 deadline.
