Antigua and Barbuda will be represented by four players at the 2026 ICC Men’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup, following the announcement of the West Indies Rising Stars squad by Cricket West Indies (CWI).

    The Antiguan players selected are:

    • Jewel Andrew – The most experienced of the four, Andrew returns after representing West Indies at the 2024 U19 World Cup. Since then, he has made history as the youngest player to represent West Indies at senior international level, setting age records in both T20 Internationals and One-Day Internationals.

    • Tanez Francis – Earns his place in the World Cup squad after strong performances in regional Under-19 competitions, continuing Antigua and Barbuda’s tradition of producing reliable youth talent.

    • Micah McKenzie – Recently made his List A debut for the West Indies Academy against Sri Lanka Emerging Men and went on to receive his maiden cap for the Leeward Islands Hurricanes during the 2025 CG United Super50 Cup.

    • Matthew Miller – Brings valuable experience to the squad, having featured prominently in the West Indies’ youth One-Day series victories over England and Sri Lanka in 2025.

The tournament will be played in Namibia and Zimbabwe from January 15 to February 6, 2026, with West Indies drawn in Group D alongside South Africa, Afghanistan and Tanzania. All group matches will be contested in Windhoek, Namibia, following warm-up fixtures against Ireland and Japan.

CWI described the squad as the result of a deliberate, performance-based selection process aimed at preparing players for the demands of senior international cricket.

The inclusion of four Antiguans underscores Antigua and Barbuda’s continued contribution to the development and future of West Indies cricket at the international level.
