The police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Fort Road at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a 20-year-old male was seated outside an apartment building in the Barrymore Hotel area, when three assailants dressed in dark clothing, approached and fired several shots in his direction.

The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his head and was transported by police to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he remains in stable condition. Investigations remain ongoing.
