Two people were reportedly captured on surveillance footage stealing a quad bike from a property in Herbert’s early Thursday morning.

The green-and-black 2024 Yamaha Raptor 700 was reportedly taken between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m.

The footage appears to show the pair removing the quad bike and fleeing the area as dogs barked nearby. However, neighbours reportedly said they neither saw nor heard anything unusual at the time.

The owner is seeking the public’s help to recover the vehicle and identify those responsible.

A US$2,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the quad bike’s recovery or the identification of the person or persons involved.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
