The Antigua & Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association (ABHTA) will host its 2026 Hospitality Job Fair on Friday, September 25, 2026, in recognition of World Tourism Day, providing job seekers with an opportunity to meet directly with employers and explore career opportunities across Antigua and Barbuda’s hospitality and tourism industry.
The Job Fair will take place at the John E. St. Luce Finance & Conference Centre from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with participating employers seeking candidates across several areas, including Front Desk, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Tour Guiding, Administration, Watersports, Accounting and more.
A key focus of this year’s Job Fair is encouraging job seekers to explore the full range of opportunities available across the tourism sector.
The ABHTA encourages attendees to explore the full range of opportunities represented at the event, including larger hotels and resorts, smaller and boutique properties, tourism experiences, and other participating organisations across the sector.
The participating companies include Antigua and Barbuda National Parks Authority, Blue Waters Resort & Spa, Carlisle Bay Resort, Curtain Bluff Antigua, Elite Island Resorts (Hammock Cove Antigua, Pineapple Beach Club, St. James’s Club & Villas and The Verandah Antigua), Hermitage Bay Antigua, Hodges Bay Resort & Spa, Jumby Bay Island, Keyonna Beach Resort, Mill Reef Club, Moon Gate Hotel & Spa, Royalton Antigua, Royalton CHIC Antigua, Sandals Grande Antigua, St. John’s Development Corporation (SJDC)/Heritage Hotel, Tamarind Hills Resort and Villas, Trade Winds Hotel and Land Sailing (TIFFINO LTD) – New Tour.
The inclusion of organisations such as the Antigua and Barbuda National Parks Authority and Land Sailing (TIFFINO LTD) – New Tour, alongside smaller properties and established resorts, highlights the diversity of employment possibilities available within the wider tourism industry.
Job seekers are encouraged to speak with as many participating employers as possible. Opportunities within smaller properties, attractions and emerging tourism businesses can provide valuable experience, career development, and pathways into different areas of the industry.
Community First Joins as Major Sponsor
The ABHTA is pleased to have Community First Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. as the Major Sponsor of the 2026 Hospitality Job Fair for year two (2), supporting the Association’s efforts to connect job seekers with prospective employers.
Community First will also be present at the Job Fair, giving attendees an opportunity to learn more about the Credit Union’s services and offerings and register for membership.
Their participation provides job seekers with access to more than employment opportunities on the day, allowing them to also explore financial services that will be useful as they enter the workforce, secure new employment or continue developing their careers.
Job Seekers Encouraged to Come Prepared
Persons attending the Hospitality Job Fair should dress professionally, bring a valid form of identification and walk with multiple copies of their résumé to share with prospective employers.
Whether an individual is an experienced hospitality professional, currently seeking a new opportunity, or interested in entering the industry, the Job Fair provides an opportunity to meet employers face-to-face and learn more about the different career paths available.
Registration Now Open
Job seekers are required to register in advance, with registration closing on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
However, registration may close earlier if the maximum number of participants is reached, and interested persons are therefore strongly encouraged to register as early as possible.
