Antigua and Barbuda’s Abigail Piper secured the second runner-up position in the Miss Caribbean Beauty and Intelligence Pageant 2026, while also walking away with several major awards during the regional competition in Guyana.
Piper finished with 2,531.5 points, placing behind newly crowned queen Akèma Carty of Anguilla and first runner-up Rikita Ambrose of Guyana. Barbados’ Tia Brown, who scored 2,500 points, was named third runner-up.
The Antiguan and Barbudan delegate was also named Best in Evening Gown and Best in Talent , strengthening an impressive overall performance that carried her into the pageant’s final four.
Piper also captured the People’s Choice Award , decided through online voting by supporters. The award automatically secured her a place among the four finalists.
She additionally received the Miss Resilient award.
The crown ultimately went to Anguilla’s Carty after the competition came down to Carty and Guyana’s Ambrose. Ambrose was announced as first runner-up, leaving Carty as Miss Caribbean Beauty and Intelligence 2026.
Carty also won Best Promotional Video, Best Smile and Best in Swimsuit, while Ambrose captured Best First Interview and Miss Intelligence. Barbados’ Brown won Best in Costume.
