The Office of the Chief Health Inspector is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the relatives of four deceased individuals whose bodies remain in storage at Straffies Funeral Home.

    The deceased are:

    • Gintaras Lokocikas – received into care on May 16, 2025
    • Kelvin Anthony – received into care on June 10, 2025
    • Vernon Hippolyte – received into care on April 6, 2026
    • George Phillis – received into care on April 24, 2026

Family members are asked to contact Straffies Funeral Home on St. John’s Street at 462-0575 to make arrangements for private burial.

The Office of the Chief Health Inspector warned that if no relatives come forward within 14 days of the publication of the notice, the government will proceed with the interment of the bodies at a public cemetery without further notice. Authorities also advised that legal action after burial will not be an option.
