    Ministry of Education Announces Top 100 Students in 2026 Grade Six National Assessment

    Top Student Scores 383 as Education Ministry Announces 2026 Grade Six Top 100

    The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has officially released the Top 100 students from the 2026 Grade Six National Assessment, with Denushka H. Gibbs of Minoah Magnet Academy emerging as the nation’s top-performing student with 383 marks.

    According to the official results, Marlensky J. Salien of Antigua Baptist Academy placed second overall with 382 marks , earning the distinction of top male student.

    Necasia B. Ralph of J.T. Ambrose Primary School secured third place overall with 377 marks , making her the highest-performing student from a government primary school.

    Education Minister Daryll S. Matthew congratulated students, parents, teachers, principals and school communities on the release of the results, describing the achievement as an important milestone in the students’ educational journeys.

    The minister also recognized Post Millennial Academy , which recorded the highest representation in the national Top 100, placing 12 students on the list.

    “The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology congratulates the Top 100 Students in the 2026 Grade Six National Assessment. Keep aiming high and continue to excel!” the ministry said in a congratulatory message.

    Matthew encouraged all students, regardless of where they placed, to remain proud of their efforts and continue striving for excellence as they prepare for secondary school.

    The official list also indicates students’ preferred secondary schools, with the majority selecting Antigua Grammar School or Antigua Girls’ High School , while others chose Sir Novelle Richards Academy.
