    Antigua and Barbuda Announces Team for The 5th PanAm Aquatics Swimming Championships

    The Antigua and Barbuda Swimming Federation (ABSF) is pleased to announce the official team selected to represent the twin-island nation at the upcoming 5th PanAm Aquatics Swimming Championships, scheduled to take place from July 8th to 12th, 2026, in Ibagué, Colombia.

    PanAm Aquatics is the governing body for all aquatics across the Americas. This important championship will bring together the best age group swimmers from across the continent, showcasing emerging talent and the future of aquatic sports in the Americas.

    The Antigua National Team will feature a talented lineup of nine (9) swimmers who have met the qualifying standard to compete under the flag at this high-caliber event. The qualified athletes by age group are as follows:

    Girls 13–15

    • Anya DeGannes
    • Willow Zreibi

    Boys 13–15

    • Alessandro Bazzoni
    • Jamie Tranter
    • N’Yriq Weste

    Boys 16–18

    • IReuben Edwards
    • Espriit Shaw
    • Jai Sindhi

    Boys 19 & over

    • Tony Goodwin

    The Head Coach for the team is Wayne Mitchell, the Team Manager is Anna Salerno-Mitchell, and the Chaperone is Daniela Casmiro.

    Also attending the championship is Vipers Club swimmer, Malique Josephs (13–15 age group).

    The ABSF extends warm congratulations to all the swimmers and commends them for their dedication and hard work preparing for these championships. As the contingent departs on Friday, July 3rd, we encourage the nation to rally around them and show their support.
