Police: 16-Year-Old in Critical Condition After Gunman Opens Fire on Two Teens

POLICE INVESTIGATE SHOOTING INCIDENT THAT LEFT TWO TEENAGERS INJURED
Police are investigating a shooting incident that left two teenage males nursing gunshot injuries on Wednesday evening.
Around 5:30 p.m. on July 1, police responded to reports of a shooting on Christian Street.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the two teenagers were walking along Armstrong Road when they were approached by a lone gunman dressed in black clothing with his face covered.
The assailant reportedly opened fire, striking both victims before fleeing the area on foot.
One of the victims, a 16-year-old, sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and remains hospitalized in critical condition.
The second victim, a 17-year-old, received gunshot wounds to both legs. His injuries are not considered life-threatening, and he remains under medical care.
The suspect is described as being approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a slim build. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
