— The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda on Monday expressed condolences to the family of prominent businessman and philanthropist Sir Aziz Hadeed, describing him as a longstanding supporter of the organization and a committed national servant.
In a statement issued by the Police Administration, the force said it joined the nation in mourning the passing of Sir Aziz, whose generosity and contributions positively impacted both the police organization and the wider community over many years.
The statement noted that Sir Aziz played an important role in supporting Police Week activities and other community initiatives, helping to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the public.
“Sir Aziz was a longstanding supporter and friend of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, whose generosity and commitment to national development positively impacted the organization and the wider community for many years,” the statement said.
Commissioner of Police Everton Jeffers, on behalf of the Police Administration and members of the force, extended condolences to the Hadeed family, friends, colleagues and business associates.
The Police Administration described Sir Aziz Hadeed as “a true national servant” whose legacy of generosity, leadership and service to the people of Antigua and Barbuda “will long be remembered.”
The force also assured the family of its support and prayers during their time of grief.
