    Two Suspects in Custody in Villa Double Homicide Investigation

    St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Friday, March 27, 2026

    The police are currently questioning two persons of interest in connection with a double homicide that occurred in Villa.

    Two male suspects, ages 19 and 24, are in police custody assisting investigators with ongoing inquiries into the deaths of 17-year-old Omarie Lewis and 18-year-old Brianna Clarke, both of Hans Street.

    At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, police officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Serious Crimes Unit, Forensic Evidence Recovery Unit (FERU), and the St. John’s Police Station responded to a report of a shooting incident in the Villa area.

    Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered the bodies of both victims lying motionless and unresponsive outside their residence. Both individuals were later pronounced dead by a medical doctor at 11:53 a.m. and 11:54 a.m., respectively.

    Investigations into this matter remain ongoing.

    The police are appealing to anyone with information that may assist in this investigation to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call the Crimestoppers anonymous hotline at 800-TIPS (8477). All information will be treated with the strictest confidence.

    The Police Administration extends sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased as they grieve this tragic loss.
