Grandmother Demands Justice for ‘Innocent’ Brianna Clark After Villa Double Killing
Blondelle Hopkins is demanding justice following the killing of her 17-year-old granddaughter, Brianna Clark, describing the teen as “a gem” who avoided trouble and excelled in school.
“I would want the full extent of the law, because the person’s life you just took away, she was a gem,” Hopkins said in an emotional interview.
Hopkins said Clark was “innocent,” never involved in fights, and had no disciplinary issues during her five years at school. She said the family had been looking forward to celebrating her graduation this year.
“She never had any detention, nothing… she’s just next to perfect,” Hopkins said.
Clark and her boyfriend, Omari Lewis, were shot and killed in a brazen daytime attack on Hanns Street in Villa on Thursday, an incident that has stunned residents and left families grieving.
Hopkins said those responsible must be held accountable, calling for justice “to the full extent of the law” as the investigation continues.
