The St. John’s Development Corporation (SJDC) is marking its 40th anniversary with a week of activities under the theme “40 Years: Honoring our Past: Shaping our Future.”
The celebrations began on Friday, Feb. 20, with a media appearance on Good Morning Antigua and Barbuda at 6:30 a.m.
Activities continue on Sunday, Feb. 22, with a church service at 8 a.m. at Spring Gardens Moravian Church, followed by breakfast at 10:30 a.m. at the Heritage Hotel.
On Monday, Feb. 23, the corporation will host a media day focused on litter awareness, prevention and control at 7:45 a.m.
Customer Appreciation Day is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 26, at 10:30 a.m.
Staff Dress Day and a motivational speaker session will be held on Friday, Feb. 27, at 1 p.m. at the Heritage Hotel.
The week concludes on Saturday, Feb. 28, with a barbecue and games night at 6 p.m. at the Multipurpose Center.
The SJDC, established four decades ago, said the anniversary events reflect its commitment to honoring its legacy while shaping the future of development in St. John’s.
