    Suspect wanted for attempted armed robbery Surrenders to Police

    St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Tuesday, October 7, 2025

    The man who was being sought by the police in connection with an attempted robbery at a convenience store has surrendered himself.

    Elahim Bloodman, 19 years old of Grays Farm turned himself in to officers at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) on Tuesday morning, accompanied by family members. He is presently in police custody assisting with ongoing investigations.

    Initial reports revealed that around 9:54 a.m., a lone male entered the establishment armed with what appeared to be a firearm. The store owner quickly raised an alarm, causing the assailant to flee the scene on foot along New Street.

    The Police Administration is expressing appreciation to members of the public and the media for their assistance and cooperation throughout the investigation.

    Meanwhile, the public is being reminded to remain vigilant and to continue reporting any suspicious activities or individuals by contacting the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at 462-3913, 911, or the nearest police station.
