    Rotary Club of Antigua Advances Education Through Technology Programme

    The Rotary Club of Antigua is forging ahead, playing a major role in assisting institutions through its Education Through Technology Programme.

    On 1st October, 2025, we distributed laptop devices to a number of organizations and educators to include: The Tiny Smiles Preschool and Daycare Centre, presented to Director Ms. Deandra Cooper. New Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Academy, presented to Ms. Coreen Patrick, Principal. The Caribbean Council of the Blind, presented to Ms. Carolyn Gopaul and the Industrial Workshop for the Blind distributed to Mrs. Jacqueline Tweed-Harris. The Victory Center, and Industrial Arts Teacher, Fitzgerald Ponde.

    The representatives collectively thanked the Rotary Club of Antigua for answering the respective calls for assistance in advancing the training, professional development and overall technological growth in various areas.

    President of the Rotary Club of Antigua, Elisa Graham noted that “the Rotary Club of Antigua remains committed to assisting in the technological development of young minds through this hallmark programme. “We are thankful to our international partners the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club from Washington State, for their continued engagement in bringing together local knowledge to the needs of schools and students”.
