The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) has graduated the fourth group from its Leadership and Development Programme, part of its strategy to strengthen internal leadership and succession planning.

The eight-week course covered leadership, performance management, budgeting, labour relations and project management, alongside workshops in customer service, communication and team building.

Human Resources Manager Rodney Simon urged the graduates to see the programme as the start of a lifelong leadership journey, while other facilitators praised their commitment and growth.

APUA says the initiative is designed to prepare employees for greater responsibility, helping the utility to improve efficiency, innovation and service to the public.
