Antigua and Barbuda’s rising table tennis sensation, Stuti Kashyap, has once again made her mark on the international stage — this time clinching silver in the U19 Mixed Doubles at the WTT Youth Contender San Francisco III 2025, held at the renowned 888 Table Tennis Center.

Partnering with Rishi Pendse of the United States, the dynamic duo delivered a string of gutsy performances, including back-to-back 5-set thrillers in the quarterfinals and semifinals, defeating top teams from Singapore and USA/Taiwan respectively.

Their semifinal victory, in particular, was a testament to grit and composure, as they took the final game 13-11 to secure a spot in the championship match.

In the final, they faced the formidable South African pair Botha/Mende, eventually having to settle for second place after a tough 0-3 result (8-11, 5-11, 9-11).

Despite the loss, this silver medal is a tremendous achievement and adds to Stuti’s already historic bronze medal at the ITTF Pan American Youth Championships in Rosario, Argentina — marking a trailblazing two weeks of podium finishes for Antigua and Barbuda.

“These back-to-back medals reflect Stuti’s growing maturity, resilience, and hunger to compete at the highest level,” said Charles ‘Chucky’ Bellot, President of the Antigua and Barbuda Table Tennis Association (ABTTA).

“We’re incredibly proud of what she’s accomplished not just for herself, but for the sport and for youth athletes across the region.”

Stuti’s next international outing will be at the ITTF Pan American Championships (Senior Division) in Rock Hill, USA this October — at the age of 16, a leap into the senior ranks that promises yet another chapter in her remarkable journey.
