Antigua and Barbuda clinched the 2025 ECVA Men’s Final Four Tournament title with a straight-sets victory over Saint Lucia at the YMCA on Sunday evening.

The hosts powered to a 3-0 win (25-23, 25-19, 25-15), securing qualification for the 2026 NORCECA Pan American Cup.

Head coach Carl Williams praised his team’s preparation, noting their months of training and a trip to Mexico that sharpened their edge ahead of the regional showdown.

Antigua dominated key areas of the final, scoring 38 points off attack compared with 36 from Saint Lucia, edging them in blocking (33-32) and overwhelming in service aces (7-1). Saint Lucia, however, committed fewer errors (17 to Antigua’s 22).

Outside hitter Cairon Davis led all scorers with 17 points and was later crowned tournament MVP, also taking home the Best Spiker award. Saint Lucia’s Clercent Joseph top-scored for his side with 13 points.

Antigua’s clean sweep extended to the individual honours. Dwight Bonnie earned Best Server and Best Blocker, Yashid Auguiste was recognised as Best Libero and Best Digger, and vice-captain Colin Thomas collected the Best Setter award.

For Saint Lucia, Joseph was named Best Spiker while teammate Tevin St. Jean shared the Best Blocker accolade.

The triumph capped a strong showing for Antigua and Barbuda, who lifted the trophy on home soil in front of a jubilant crowd.
