Justice Nicola Byer of the Family Court acknowledged challenges female judges face, including balancing work and family life and not always being taken as seriously as male counterparts.

She embraced the observance as a celebration of sisterhood, emphasizing the importance of supporting fellow female judges rather than undermining them.
