Carlisle Bay Antigua will unveil the second phase of its multimillion-dollar renovation in October 2026, featuring redesigned Carlisle Suites and 20 newly named Signature Beach Suites.
The two-bedroom beach suites will offer larger living areas, custom furnishings and an additional bathroom, making them suitable for extended family and multigenerational holidays. Their contemporary Caribbean interiors will feature natural fabrics, neutral colours and materials inspired by Antigua’s beaches, vegetation and sunsets.
The resort’s four three-bedroom Carlisle Suites will be renamed Rendezvous Bay, Signal Hill, Fig Tree Drive and Great Bird Island. Each will reflect its Antiguan namesake through distinctive colours, textures, artwork and handcrafted details.
Designer Miminat Shodeinde is leading the project alongside Cara Doherty of Carlisle Bay’s ownership group. Local artist Sallie Harker has also created original woodcut artwork for the Carlisle Suites.
The renovation is being completed in stages, with upgrades to all guest suites, the Entrance Pavilion and Bar, and Indigo on the Beach expected to be finished by November 2027.
