National Youth Ambassador Christal Percival is set to host a community health fair aimed at promoting wellness and increasing health awareness across Antigua and Barbuda.

The event, themed “New Year, Better Health,” is scheduled to take place on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Multipurpose Cultural Center from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Speaking on the initiative, Percival explained that the health fair was organized to encourage citizens to place greater focus on their health and overall well-being. Attendees will have access to a range of free health screenings, including eye examinations, non-communicable disease screenings, HPV testing, HIV testing, and other essential health services.

In addition to the screenings, participants will also benefit from educational resources and access to valuable health information designed to promote healthier lifestyles and preventative care practices.

Percival emphasized the importance of prioritizing health throughout the twin-island nation and is encouraging members of the public to take proactive steps toward better care and healthier living.
