Over the past few months, the Hopeful Hearts Foundation has continued to expand its outreach efforts across Antigua and Barbuda through a series of youth, educational, and humanitarian initiatives aimed at uplifting vulnerable individuals and empowering young people.

During Hopeful Hearts Month, the organization successfully carried out several meaningful activities within the community. One of the Foundation’s major initiatives included a food drive geared towards assisting individuals and families in need. The Foundation also visited Cedar Grove Primary School, where members engaged students in an interactive session on the history of Antigua and Barbuda before distributing treats sponsored by Hi Tea.

On April 9th, Hopeful Hearts Foundation proudly celebrated its two-year anniversary and officially launched its new commercial, highlighting the organization’s growth, impact, and continued commitment to service throughout the nation.

Adding to this milestone period, Founder and CEO Kristine Louisa was recognized as Caribbean Young Person of the Month for May 2026, an achievement highlighting her continued leadership, youth advocacy, and humanitarian contributions across Antigua and Barbuda and the wider Caribbean.

The Foundation has also remained active in direct outreach and assistance initiatives throughout May. Clothing and school supplies were donated to the School for the Deaf, while additional support was provided to several vulnerable households, including a mother of two children, a single mother raising one child, a mother caring for seven girls, and a man living with a disability.

In addition to humanitarian outreach, the organization continues to promote youth involvement and environmental responsibility. On Saturday, members of the Hopeful Hearts youth group participated in a beach cleanup initiative as part of ongoing efforts to encourage volunteerism and community engagement among young people.

Looking ahead, the Foundation has several upcoming initiatives planned for the coming months. Later in May, Founder and CEO Kristine Louisa, alongside one of the Foundation’s youth members, will be donating examination kits to a Grade 6 class in preparation for their common entrance examinations.

The organization is also preparing for a Barbuda outreach initiative in June, in addition to a clothing and food drive aimed at assisting families and individuals in need. Furthermore, plans are currently underway for a charity walk anticipated to take place in July.

Founder and CEO Kristine Louisa expressed gratitude to supporters, volunteers, and community partners who continue to contribute to the Foundation’s mission.

“Hopeful Hearts Foundation was built on the belief that service and compassion can truly change lives. Every initiative, whether large or small, is centered around creating hope, support, and opportunity within our communities,” she stated.

As the organization continues to grow, Hopeful Hearts Foundation remains committed to expanding its impact through education, outreach, youth empowerment, and humanitarian service across Antigua and Barbuda.

Community members are encouraged to follow the Foundation’s journey and stay updated on upcoming initiatives via Instagram at @hopefulhearts_inc and on Facebook at Hopeful Hearts Foundation.
