Work continues to progress on the Antigua Cruise Port’s upland development, with new construction underway on key features aimed at enhancing the visitor experience.

In an update shared this week, Antigua Cruise Port said excavation and foundation works are advancing on the Day Club pool, marking another phase in the transformation of the waterfront space.

Construction activity is also ongoing across the site, including roofing works by LICCOM that will shape the structure of upcoming kiosks and commercial facilities intended to support expanded retail and service offerings.

The development forms part of a broader effort to modernise the port and create a more experience-driven environment for cruise passengers arriving in Antigua. Officials said each phase of construction is contributing to a more dynamic and contemporary port product.

The Antigua Cruise Port project is being led by Global Ports Holding as part of a long-term plan to upgrade infrastructure and diversify offerings at one of the Caribbean’s key cruise destinations.
