A decade of hard work has been shattered in a matter of hours, after a local entrepreneur reported that thieves broke in and stole items critical to her livelihood.
Tamisha Paul said it took her 10 years to build her brand, only for criminals to “try and destroy” it in roughly two hours. The incident has left her not only counting financial losses, but grappling with the emotional toll of seeing years of sacrifice threatened overnight.
Among the stolen items were wigs and essential hair salon tools — equipment she depends on daily to earn a living and serve her clients.
In an emotional appeal shared publicly, Paul urged the community to remain vigilant and report anyone attempting to sell the stolen goods.
She asked residents to contact her directly or inform the police if they come across suspicious sales involving wigs or salon equipment.
Her message also carried a warning to those responsible, stressing that efforts are already underway to identify and recover the stolen items.
The incident underscores the vulnerability faced by small business owners, many of whom invest years of dedication, personal sacrifice, and limited resources into building their enterprises.
For Paul, the loss goes beyond material goods — it represents a setback to a dream built piece by piece over the past decade.
