    ABEC Waives Replacement Fee for Lost Voter Identification Cards

    The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) wishes to inform the general public that, effective Friday, 27 th February 2026, the replacement fee of EC$100 for lost but valid Voter Identification (ID) Cards will be waived.

    Eligible voters who have lost their valid Voter ID Cards may have them replaced free of charge at the Commission’s Headquarters located on Queen Elizabeth Highway.

    This initiative forms part of ABEC’s ongoing efforts to ensure that all eligible voters have convenient and equitable access to a VALID voter’s ID as well as to strengthen electoral participation and the further integrity of the democratic process.

    Electors seeking a replacement card are reminded to present a valid form of identification and any documentation that may assist in verifying their identity.
