    New Valve Installed to Improve Water Pressure for Bethesda Area

    ST. JOHN’S, Antigua — Water officials say a newly installed pressure-reducing valve in the Bethesda area is expected to improve pressure management and strengthen water distribution for customers in Bethesda, Newfield and Lyons.

    Crews completed the installation over the weekend and also placed concrete thrust blocks to secure the line, according to an update from the water team.

    Water service in the three communities was temporarily interrupted during the work. Officials said distribution will resume after a 24-hour curing period for the concrete thrust blocks is complet
