The Rotary Club of Antigua is significantly amplifying its long-running “Meals on Wheels” project this month, thanks to generous support from dedicated patron Mark Raab and the West Indies Oil Company (WIOC).
This initiative, which has been in continuous operation since 1985, typically sees the club distribute on average 100 bags of dried groceries monthly to vulnerable persons, primarily funded by monies raised from the annual Colours Fete.
For the third consecutive year, Mark Raab has provided funding for a single month, ensuring a massive temporary boost to the program. With this support and the additional contribution from WIOC, Rotarians have packed an additional 191 bags of dried groceries this November, totalling 285. This expanded effort has nearly triple the club’s reach, ensuring that significantly more families receive much-needed essential groceries.
The Rotary Club of Antigua invites the public to learn more about its projects and consider getting involved. Donations and volunteer efforts help sustain this legacy of support.
