Antigua and Barbuda Records ECCU’s Lowest Fuel Prices

Antigua and Barbuda recorded the lowest gasoline and diesel prices in the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union in July 2026, according to the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank.

Gasoline cost EC$14.50 per imperial gallon, while diesel was EC$14.25—well below the regional averages of EC$17.66 and EC$18.16, respectively.

The country also had the ECCU’s second-lowest cooking gas prices. A 20-pound cylinder cost EC$32, while a 100-pound cylinder was EC$155. Only St Kitts and Nevis recorded lower prices.

Across the ECCU, average gasoline and diesel prices both declined by 1.2 per cent compared with June.
