_TWO SUSPECTS IN POLICE CUSTODY IN CONNECTION WITH ALL SAINTS MURDER INVESTIGATION_

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda

Two suspects are being questioned by the police in connection with the ongoing murder investigation of 35-year-old Sheldon Dias of Mock Pond, All Saints.

Preliminary investigations indicate that shortly before noon on Friday, June 5, the deceased was involved in an altercation with two individuals at Mock Pond.

The police arrived at the scene and found Dias lying at the rear of a yard with multiple wounds about his body.

A medical doctor visited the scene and pronounced him dead at 1:45 p.m.

A male and a female were subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in police custody assisting investigators with their investigations.

The Police Administration extends sincere condolences to the family Dias as they mourn his tragic death.

Investigations into the matter remain ongoing.
