Next Generation Global Connect (NGGC), a global youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young changemakers and advancing sustainable development, has appointed Antiguan youth leader and development advocate Peetron Thomas as its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Coordinator for the Americas.

In this regional leadership role, Thomas will coordinate and support initiatives across North America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

His responsibilities will include fostering strategic partnerships, engaging youth leaders, promoting sustainable development initiatives, and strengthening regional collaboration to address key social, economic, and environmental challenges.

NGGC connects young leaders across Africa, the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East through programs focused on climate action, quality education, innovation, leadership development, and sustainable community growth.

The organization provides a platform for youth to contribute meaningfully to global development efforts while advancing solutions to challenges affecting their communities.

Thomas’ appointment reflects his demonstrated commitment to youth empowerment, community development, and social impact.
