As Grade 6 students across the country prepare for their upcoming examinations, the Hopeful Hearts Foundation (HHF) visited the Grade 6 class at Pares Primary School to donate examination kits aimed at supporting students during this important academic period.
The initiative, which was sponsored by Paperclips, provided students with essential examination supplies while also offering encouragement as they prepare to take the next step in their educational journey.
The project was inspired by a member of the Hopeful Hearts Foundation Youth Group, who suggested the idea as a meaningful way to support students ahead of their examinations. The Foundation embraced the concept and worked to bring it to life, highlighting the value of youth-led ideas and community action.
During the visit, students participated in an interactive session focused on confidence, preparation, and goal-setting. They were encouraged to believe in their abilities, work diligently toward their goals, and remember that success is built through perseverance and determination.
“Many students approach examination season with a mixture of excitement and nervousness,” said Kristine Louisa , Founder and President of Hopeful Hearts Foundation. “We wanted to remind these students that they are capable, supported, and prepared to do their best. We are also proud that this initiative began with the idea of one of our youth members, demonstrating that young people can make a real difference in their communities.”
Hopeful Hearts Foundation expressed gratitude to Paperclips for its partnership and commitment to supporting educational initiatives that empower young people.
The Foundation remains dedicated to creating opportunities for children and families through community outreach, educational support, youth development, and advocacy initiatives across Antigua and Barbuda.
