The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has congratulated No. 753 Corporal Lynroy Durand on earning a Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity.
According to the force, Durand was one of only two Antiguans selected to receive a partial scholarship from the Organization of American States to pursue advanced studies in Cybersecurity at Universidad Da Vinci de Guatemala in partnership with Structuralia.
Police said the programme strengthened Durand’s expertise in information security, cybercrime prevention and digital protection measures.
The force said he plans to apply his knowledge to support the continued development of cybersecurity capabilities within the police service, particularly in cyber investigations, digital forensics and the protection of critical information systems.
In a statement, the Royal Police Force described the achievement as a reflection of Durand’s commitment to lifelong learning, professional development and the advancement of modern policing through technology and innovation.
The organisation also wished him continued success in his service to Antigua and Barbuda.
