Caribbean Travel Marketplace returns to Antigua and Barbuda and consolidates its position as the premier tourism event in the Caribbean

The Caribbean Travel Marketplace, the most important tourism marketing event in the Caribbean, will celebrate its 44th edition in Antigua and Barbuda from May 12 to 15, 2026, consolidating itself as one of the key platforms for generating business in the industry.

Organized by the Caribbean Hotels and Tourism Association (CHTA), the meeting will bring together more than 500 suppliers and buyers from the global tourism sector at the American University of Antigua conference center, in an agenda that will combine business rounds, networking and training spaces.

The event, held for the second consecutive year in the destination, is once again positioning itself as a strategic meeting point to strengthen business alliances and promote the growth of tourism throughout the region.

“The Caribbean Travel Marketplace is a results-oriented platform where real business opportunities are generated, lasting relationships are built, and the tourism development of the Caribbean is boosted,” highlighted CHTA President Sanovnik Destang.

For four days, participants will have access to a comprehensive program that includes pre-arranged meetings between buyers and suppliers, as well as parallel activities focused on the main trends in the industry.

Among the highlights is the Responsible Tourism Day, which will take place on May 14, and will offer attendees the opportunity to learn about initiatives related to sustainable tourism and environmental conservation.

Also, on May 15, the Direct Booking Summit will take place, a space that will bring together industry leaders to analyze the latest innovations, digital strategies and trends that are transforming the tourism industry.

The 2026 edition will also feature a strong international media presence, which will amplify the event’s reach and reinforce its impact in key source markets.

As an added value, the Caribbean Travel Marketplace will coincide with Antigua and Barbuda’s Gastronomic Month, allowing participants to complement their business agenda with cultural and culinary experiences from the destination.

With a proposal that combines business, knowledge and professional exchange, the Caribbean Travel Marketplace reaffirms its role as the key event to boost the Caribbean tourism industry.
