The United Progressive Party (UPP) is set to officially launch its election campaign with a public event titled “Ignite” on Sunday, April 12.

The event, described as “a night of prayer and praise,” will take place at the “Knuckle Block” in Grays Farm starting at 6:30 p.m., according to promotional material released by the party.

Organisers say the gathering will mark the formal start of the UPP’s push for political change, inviting supporters and the wider public to attend. The event will feature Bridget Blucher.

In a message accompanying the announcement, the party called on supporters to join what it described as the “ignition of our campaign to effect the change our country needs.”

The launch comes as political activity intensifies ahead of the anticipated general election, with parties ramping up outreach efforts and public engagement across constituencies.

The UPP’s campaign slogan, “Government Must Work For You,” is prominently featured in the promotion, signalling its central message heading into the election period.
