    Naeem Simon Places 11th in U17 High Jump at CARIFTA

    Antigua and Barbuda’s Naeem Simon finished 11th overall in the Under-17 boys’ high jump at the CARIFTA Games, delivering a performance marked by determination and resilience.

    Competing in the afternoon session, Simon represented the country among the region’s top young athletes, gaining valuable experience on the regional stage.

    In a statement, the Antigua Barbuda Athletic Association commended the young high jumper for his courage and willingness to compete at a high level, noting that “every jump, every attempt, every experience is part of the journey—and this is only the beginning.”

    The association encouraged Simon to continue his development, adding, “Keep pushing, keep rising. The future is bright.”
