    Soniya Jones to represent Antigua at World Indoor Championships in Poland

    The Antigua and Barbuda Athletics Association (ABAA) has announced a one-member team to represent the country at the World Indoor Track and Field Championships in Toruń, Poland, scheduled for March 20–22, 2026.

    Sprinter Soniya Jones will compete in the women’s 60 metres. Jones, who is affiliated with Western Michigan University, will be accompanied by coach Evans Jawakie Jones.

    According to the association, the team departs Antigua and Miami on March 18 and is expected to return on March 24.

    The ABAA extended best wishes to the athlete and her coach, expressing confidence in their performance and wishing them a safe journey to Poland.
