Antigua and Barbuda’s Foreign Affairs Minister E.P. Chet Greene held bilateral discussions with Canadian Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs Robert Oliphant during the Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting in London.
According to the Antigua and Barbuda High Commission in the United Kingdom, the meeting focused on the future direction and continued relevance of the Commonwealth, as well as preparations for the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
The two officials also exchanged views on strengthening resilience for Small Island Developing States, reinforcing the rule of law as a foundation of democratic governance, and addressing global de-risking trends and broader geopolitical challenges.
Both sides reaffirmed the importance of multilateral cooperation and maintaining strong engagement within the Commonwealth framework.
